Truck fleet ready for intercity cargo trips across Saudi Arabia

Intercity transport requires more precise information than local deliveries. Missing documents or an incorrect delivery point can add hours to the trip, so use this checklist before confirming the truck.

Before loading

  • Cargo type, weight, dimensions and quantity.
  • Truck type and required weather protection.
  • Exact addresses and operating hours at both sites.
  • A named contact and phone number at each site.
  • Cargo documents or special permits.
  • Loading and unloading method.
  • Securing and weather-protection requirements.
  • Expected delivery time and receipt confirmation process.

During the trip

Agree on update points in advance: after loading, on departure and before arrival. This gives the receiving team time to prepare the site and handling resources.

If the time or location changes, inform the transport coordinator directly rather than relying on the driver alone.

Simple rule: Every detail that affects the truck type or entry time should be written down before departure.
